It took me hours and several body contortions to get this picture right. Seriously there was this huge gap between the floor and the window at the museum (the Brandywine Museum in PA if you want to be specific) and I had all kinds of problems trying to get the picture taken, but then the light hit just right and I was "Oh yes!" about it. This is basically a picture of one of my dolls, a SDC Arashi - who fell over multiple times, I had to contort to get an angle with the reflections showing up properly, but I'm terribly pleased. My efforts did not go un-noticed by the other patrons of the museum. I was photographed while trying to set up this shot. That amuses me as well. At any rate I think it shows "his" personality and I'm very happy with the result. Given that this isn't really a portrait and it isn't really a still life, I wasn't sure how to categorize it and so selected "misc." If you have a better filing for it, please let me know!
Beautiful picture ^^ Where do you get your dolls from. I see so many on deviantart and I would love one of my own. If you know the website where I can order one, please respond and let me know. It would be greatly appreciated. ^^

Well there are several different websites depending on what kind of doll you want and your price range. These guys range from $100 to $3000. Two good sources of information are [link] (Asian Ball Jointed Dolls) and [link] (Den of Angels). Both sites have forums and links to several different doll sites. Two of my favorite companies are Japanese company, Volks (www.volksusa.com - they created the first resin ball jointed dolls) and Korean company, Luts (www.eluts.com). Dream of Doll (www.dreamofdoll.com) is another Korean company and where I got my first doll. For really small and incredibly cute pixie dolls you can always look at the Pukipuki dolls at [link]
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article.
In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
Have a great time everyone and please fav this article so as many people can see the featured works. I would recommend seeing each one and faving them too.
